You don’t have to rely on flake, pellets, or frozen foods, when you can feed your pets live foods. We will show you how feeding live foods such as Vinegar eels, Microworms, Grindal worms and White worms can be extremely easy.
Vinegar Eels
Vinegar Eels are barely visible to the naked eye. They are free-living nematodes that feed on the microbial culture, called Mother of Vinegar used to create vinegar. Being the smallest of live foods maxing out at just under 2mm long, they are a great first food for very small fry. You can read more under our Worm Info page. Subsisting on yeast, it is easily cultured at home on a substrate of Potatoes or oatmeal inoculated with dry yeast.Females reach maturity in about three days and deliver live young rather than eggs, as most nematodes produce. Grindal Worms
